la Madeleine is a proud supporter of our communities and believes in giving back to organizations that help better our neighborhoods and our world. Everyone needs the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the community and to society. We seek to create access to such opportunities for those who wouldn't ordinarily have resources. We provide charitable contributions to programs that will help support and develop the communities we serve. Creating a better community instills a sense of pride in la Madeleine associates, our guests and the communities we live in.
Organizations We Support – Our charitable giving is focused on:
- Feeding the hungry
- Providing opportunity in education
- Supporting underfunded constituencies within the arts and culture community
- Beautification of our communities and preservation of our environment
la Madeleine makes contributions to eligible not-for-profit organizations in our communities whose goals are aligned with our strategic interests and when projects fall under our area of focus. Organizations must be tax exempt under the IRS 501c(3) and 509(a)(1), (2) or (3) codes. We have a strong preference for supporting local organizations.
Requests will not be considered for:
- Organizations that do not have a tax-exempt, non-profit status
- Individuals
- Fraternal, political or veterans' organizations
- Sponsorship of local groups or individuals to participate in regional, national or international competitions, conferences or events
Contributing at the Local Level – Food and Gift Cards
If your organization or event meets our requirements and you are requesting a food donation for no more than 50 people or a Gift Card donation of no more than $250.00, please contact your local bakery. At this time, we are not able to respond to larger requests. Please note that local bakeries do not contribute financially to any organization.
Contributing at the Corporate Level – Gift Cards
If your organization or event meets our requirements and you are requesting a corporate gift card donation, please complete the Donation Request Form for our consideration and review. Requests must be received at least 8 weeks in advance of the event date.
Contributing at the Corporate Level – Sponsorships
If your organization or event meets our requirements and you are requesting a corporate sponsorship, please complete the Sponsorship Request Form for our consideration and review. Requests must be received at least 12 weeks in advance of the event date.
It's important to note that la Madeleine only reviews and responds to unsolicited requests received through our online system. Unsolicited faxed or mailed donation or sponsorship requests will not be reviewed.
Also, we will not be able to respond to any requests submitted from organizations that do not fall into the parameters of the organizations we support, as listed above.
